ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs day-to-day housekeeping functions under the supervision of the Environmental Services Director, in accordance to established housekeeping standards, policies, procedures and schedules.
Works with minimal supervision to ensure all areas are maintained in a safe, sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition by performing various duties using the necessary equipment and supplies.
Assigned housekeeping areas include, but are not limited to, cleaning residents' rooms and all common areas (hallways, elevators, service areas, restrooms, linen closets, etc.)
Performs general cleaning, floor care, sanitizing, polishing furniture/fixtures, waste removal, stocking supplies, cleaning windows, etc. May include other designated activities such as management of linens and inventory distribution, stocking, and collection.
Operates various mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, polishers, buffers, etc.
Provides courteous and supportive customer service to all residents and other customers.
Maintains the confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information.
Reports known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of such information.
This position is a 1st shift position and requires only one weekend per month.
